Stephen Ministry

Help for the hurting because no one should suffer alone. Stephen Ministry is a lay caregiving ministry that supplements pastoral care by equipping and empowering lay caregivers called Stephen Ministers to provide high quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting.

Helping Hands

People in need matter to God. As an integral part of the ministry of our church, the Helping Hands Fund provides financial assistance to individuals or families experiencing financial or material need.

“If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?” (I John 3:17)  “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2)

Caring Tree

This Christmas Season Ministry is a subset of the Helping Hands Ministry, providing Christmas gifts for those in need. It provides a festive way to care for others during the holiday season by sharing the eternal gift of Jesus while helping with the temporal needs of today.

The Caring Tree has become an endeared outreach to both the donating participant and the recipient. (The church members themselves purchase the gifts each year for those in need and they thoroughly enjoy this ministry to help others. )
